Pipe Joint Sealing

Polyurethane injection is a fast and effective way for pipe joint sealing. In one application, the polyurethane simultaneously fills voids, densifies soils around the pipe, and seals leaking joints and cracks in the pipe.

Pipe Joint Sealing Using NCFI's Geotechnical Polyurethanes

Polyurethane injection is a fast and effective way to repair a variety of issues that cause sanitary and stormwater pipes to leak. In one application, the polyurethane simultaneously fills voids, densifies soils, and seals leaking joints and cracks. The polyurethane can be injected from within the pipe or from the surface depending on accessibility and pipe diameter.

When polyurethane is injected in a vertical and horizontal injection pattern, a dense layer of polyurethane compacts and bonds the soil to prevent water seepage and soil loss. Additionally, polyurethane aggressively seeks out and fills voids and seals cavities, cracks, and crevices.

Benefits of Polyurethane
For Pipe Rehabilitation

NCFI Polyurethane systems for pipe joint sealing helps stabilize and seal joints quickly and cost-effectively. Our polyurethane systems can be injected from within a pipe, or from the surface, horizontally and vertically. Our polyurethanes are environmentally inert, meaning they do not leach chemicals into the environment or groundwater, and are available with NSF-61 safe drinking water certifications.
