Our team is comprised of some of the industry’s leading experts in geotechnical polyurethane applications, project design, and field operations. We built this team to provide the highest quality service and support for our contractors.

Josh Burcaw

Executive Vice President
Josh Burcaw is the Executive Vice President and division head of the TerraThane Geotechnical Division. He has over 24 years of experience working with geotechnical polyurethanes, from behind the gun to running URETEK ICR as Vice President and CEO. He developed a career of training and growing organizations and helping innovate the geotechnical polyurethane industry into the national market it is today.

Patrick Burchett

Technical Manager, Geotechnical
Patrick Burchett is the Technical Manager at NCFI Polyurethanes' Geotechnical Division, overseeing customer technical support, product development, and applications. With over 20 years of industry experience, he has played a pivotal role in the success of NCFI Polyurethane. Mr. Burchett's expertise has been crucial in the development and market recognition of NCFI's geotechnical products. He began his journey at NCFI as a territory sales representative for insulation and roofing in Texas, and since then, he has been instrumental in the formation and market penetration of various polyurethane systems for geotechnical applications. Mr. Burchett actively contributes to the industry as a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute and the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance, where he serves on the Geotechnical Applications committee. He regularly shares his knowledge as an application demonstrator at the prestigious Short Course on Grouting Fundamentals and Current Practices. Throughout his career, Mr. Burchett has pursued professional growth through certifications and training, including the completion of courses on grouting fundamentals, high-pressure SPF safety, and applicator spray techniques. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of the industry, he is committed to developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of customers.

Tom Gibbs

Geotechnical Sales Team Manager
Tom Gibbs leads the Geotechnical Sales team for North America. He gained expertise in urethane applications while working as an Independent Consultant for URETEK in 2007. He later established his own company, Urethane Technologies, and operated it for seven years. In 2016, he joined NCFI as a Territory Manager, expanding the company's market reach and building strong client relationships. He then became the Senior Business Development Manager for Polyurethane Grouting at Keller North America in 2020, contributing to department growth and enhancing Keller's industry presence. After three successful years at Keller, Tom returned to NCFI Polyurethanes as the Sales Manager for the Geotechnical Division, demonstrating his commitment to the company's vision and products. Tom holds certifications such as OSHA 30, OSHA 10, and Confined Space Entry, highlighting his dedication to safety and expertise in challenging work conditions. Tom is actively involved in the industry and has completed the Grouting Fundamentals and Current Practices Course at UT Austin. He is a proud member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA), and the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), collaborating with fellow professionals to contribute to the industry's growth.

Ronnie Simmons

Technical Services
Ronnie Simmons has 19 years experience troubleshooting equipment for packaging, roofing, commercial and residential, OEM (in-plant systems) and GPF foams. He has served as NCFI’s lead in professionalizing and providing training and support for foam contractors with an internal program of hands-on training on the proper use of equipment and advanced techniques for trench-breakers for pipeline, manholes/utility access, void filling, and concrete lifting. Ronnie has extensive experience with nuclear remediation at Oak Ridge, Tn. and the Hanford nuclear site in Washington State. Ronnie is certified in operations, maintenance, and diagnostic analysis of urethane equipment, auxiliary equipment, and application techniques from NCFI, Graco, PMC, and Gusmer.

Kevin Irwin

Territory Manager - South Central US​
Kevin’s experience with geotechnical polymers began in 2006 when he was owner of URETEK ICR Mid-South based in Little Rock, AR.  Kevin’s resume working with geotechnical polyurethane covers a variety of applications including deep polymer injection, foundation repair, waterproofing, water cutoff, void filling, and I&I remediation. Prior to joining NCFI GEO in June, 2019 Kevin, served in Project Management and Development for FSI GEOCON, a deep foundations contractor that specializes in micropiles, soil nails, helical piles and rock anchors. Kevin supports NCFI’s customers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota for geotechnical applications. Kevin supports our customers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico for geotechnical applications.

Steve Barnes

Technical Services
In his first job after serving in the US Navy, Steve began his career in concrete lifting and soil stabilization with URETEK USA on large geotechnical polyurethane projects across the United States. After URETEK, Steve worked in infrastructure CCTV inspection for over 15 years. He operated as a small business owner, learning firsthand the demands of building a business from the ground up, and managed crews and projects for over 20 years. Steve brings strong field experience, first-hand knowledge of polyurethane applications on high value infrastructure applications, and a strong work ethic to the NCFI Geotechnical team. Steve manages sales accounts for the Western U.S., which includes CA, AZ, NV, OR, UT, WA, and ID.

Andrew Tucker

Territory Manager - Southeastern US​
Andrew Tucker has nearly two decades of experience years working across a variety of polyurethane applications. He has operated as an owner of a polyurethane spray foam and concrete leveling company, where he gained experience working at every level of the organization from crew, operations, sales, management, and ownership. His geotechnical experience has placed him in high level domestic and international commercial and government projects, and he has become known as a specialist in the application of single-component systems. Andrew brings valuable experience and broad product and application background to the NCFI Geotechnical team. Based out of Tampa, FL, Andrew manages NCFI Geotechnical sales and service in our Southeast territory, which consists of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

Chris Gibby

Territory Manager - Northeastern US​
Chris Gibby’s journey in the world of Geotechnical Construction has been marked by a relentless commitment to customer service, exceptional application expertise, and a wealth of project experience. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Chris has consistently demonstrated his ability to help customers excel in their endeavors. Chris’s expertise spans a wide spectrum of geotechnical solutions. From soil modification to soil stabilization, concrete lifting and raising, void fill, infrastructure repair, seawall/bulkhead repair, water cutoff, and geotechnical rigid and flexible polyurethanes, he possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of this field. Chris's territory includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan.
